At Sikeston First, we welcome all women to attend our meetings that are held the third Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm. Meetings are held at the church or in our homes. At our meetings we pray, learn more about God’s Word, do crafts, and have a great time of fellowship and support for each other. We are in the Southern Missouri District of the Women’s Ministries of the Assemblies of God.

what is women’s ministries?

Women’s Ministries is the ministry of ALL the women in the church, including teachers, nursery attendants, musicians, secretaries, prayer partners, etc. The reason for Women’s Ministries is threefold – Prayer, Missions and Ministry.

Prayer – Our Priority
Prayer is our highest priority, and must be maintained in all of our ministry.

Missions – Our Purpose
The ultimate goal of Women’s Ministries is reaching others for Jesus Christ, fulfilling the Great Commission.

1. To minister to every woman according to her need.
2. To help each woman find her personal place of ministry.
